[At 14] I routinely would sit down and bust through 3 – 4 days of school to get a couple of days off and go play uninterrupted with friends.
I think a lot of people are struggling these days because they're amusing themselves with Netflix and Youtube—and maybe watching some great content on how to start a business or side hustle or whatever. But that's where it stops.
Having a family, raising your kids well, training them to work hard, training them to have the right values to preserve this country and the things we cherish is—in a lot of ways—more significant in the long run than anything you or I did overseas.
